Estrella Community College
Estrella Community College, located at 3000 North Dysart Road in Avondale, Arizona , was established in 1992 and is the newest of the ten Maricopa Community Colleges. With community input and adherence to sustainability, the campus was created to be a proud exhibit of contemporary architecture among a responsibly planned desert landscape that enhances the campus beauty.
Occupying 135 acres in the southwest valley of Phoenix, the campus is conveniently accessible off of Interstate 10 (west of Phoenix and Loop 101), 15 minutes west of downtown Phoenix, at the intersection of Dysart and Thomas Roads. EMCC’s service areas are identified as Avondale, Buckeye, El Mirage, Gila Bend, Goodyear, Luke A.F.B., Litchfield Park, Surprise, Tolleson and West Phoenix (west of 67th Avenue and south of Camelback), but draw students and visitors from across the valley.
